At Blue House Day Nursery and Preschool we have all the latest equipment and resources to help us ensure a happy, safe and secure environment for your child. At the nursery we have outside CCTV and the entry door is monitored by member of the management team at all times. The keypad entry system on the front door enables parents to gain access by a specific entry code.
Our staff are very conscientious and are required to adhere to strict policies and procedures regarding the authorisation and collection of your child. In our nursery you will find the office located in close proximity to the main entrance to ensure management are aware of who is entering and leaving the nursery at all times. Additionally all visitors to our nurseries are asked to present identification prior to entering and will remain accompanied at all times and asked to sign the nursery visitors book.
As your child’s protection is of the utmost importance all our employees are required to attend formal child protection training as part of their mandatory induction program. This training is further supported by the fully trained Child Protection Coordinator on site in our nursery who is the Nursery Manager Michaela Novotna.
The nursery also has a fully trained Health and Safety Coordinator to ensure the nursery is safe and secure to all children, families, staff and visitors at all times. The Health and Safety Coordinator ensures this through regular checks, training and health and safety updates to all staff.
